The FZW Band Boosters help the Band Program through fundraising efforts.  Some of these efforts may help to offset student costs
for Band Camp, Trips, Dues, etc.

Student or Parent fundraising options:

Scrip Program (CLICK HERE)
    This program is where we order "gift certificates" and "gift cards" from a "wholesale" company.  The cards/certificates are
    ordered through us at face value, but the company charges us a reduced rate; therefore, we make a small profit.  The profits
    generated are small, but they are consistent.

    If you order scrip and use it as you would cash/credit card/check, you can really raise a substantial amount of money, at no
    extra cost to you.


Verizon Wireless Amphitheater (CLICK HERE)
    We staff a few booths during concerts at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in Earth City/Riverport.  Earnings from these
    booths have been good this past year.  These concerts are held throughout the summer season.

    You must be 21 years of age and attend TIPS training to work this fundraiser.


Heritage Festival
    Students sign up to work shifts at the festival held at our school.  In previous years it has been held in late April.


Butter Braids
    We also hold a sales drive of Butter Braids, a frozen breakfast/dessert pastry.  2011 sale dates were September 12 -
    October 5, and delivery was November 2, 2011.  Forty percent of the sales go directly to student band tracking accounts.


TJ's Pizza/Desserts
    We sell TJ's Pizza, cookie dough, and pies.  The last school year's sale dates were April 13-27, 2011, and 40% profit goes
    into your student's band account.  Sales are handled with order sheets, and the frozen items were picked up at the school
    on May 18, 2011.


Group Fundraisers

Cake Auction
    Students decorate cakes to be auctioned off during our Winter Concert.  There is a live auction during the concert and a
    silent auction with viewing before the concert.


Trivia Night
    The Band Boosters hold an annual Trivia Night.  This school year the date is Friday, January 20, 2012.  There are silent
    auctions and raffles that are held during this event as additional fund raising.  Many volunteer positions are needed to make
