Band Boosters
The Fort Zumwalt West High School Silver Jaguar Band Boosters are a key component in our band program.  All parents are
automatically members of the Silver Jaguar Band Boosters.  There are no dues or membership fees.  The Boosters typically support
the band in numerous ways.

1) Financially - There are many things that we need to have a high quality band program that are beyond the means of our school
district.  That's where the SJBB come in.  The organization raises funds to supplement the band program.  All of that support is in
extra-curricular areas, as everything required by our district's curriculum is funded by the district.  In addition, the SJBB help students
in their fundraising efforts.

2) Workload - There is far more to do in a band program of our size than our staff is able to do.  The SJBB provides support in many
organizational and logistical ways.  This ranges from helping to plan trips to organizing parent chaperones and much more.

3) Motivational - Our band parents provide an endless source of positive support for the students and staff in our program.  Even with
everything else going the right direction, we couldn't even begin to do what we do without this extra "push."

Band Booster meetings for the 2011 - 2012 school year will be the SECOND Tuesday of the month.
We meet in the Band Room (room 123) beginning at 7PM.  The major items of discussion during our meetings are listed
